Description
A fairly new introduction of Carnation and something just a little different!
Instead of the 'normal' carnation shaped flower, this variety has fringed pendulous petals that flutter in any breeze - looking like ripped fabric fluttering in the wind. A gorgeous mix of colours including pure whites, pinks, rich purples and reds. And if that is not enough, they are delicately scented too!
Can be grown in pots and moved into the greenhouse or sun room for late autumn and early spring flowering.
- Flower June to September.
- Grow to approximately 18" (45 cm) tall.
- Thrive in full sun and a well drained soil.
- Plant 10" (25 cm) apart.
- Flowers are edible.
