Description
Hybridised from plants originating in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, this tough little succulent makes an excellent addition to the garden and is perfect for the rock garden or growing in troughs adding vibrant colours from pink to red, yellow and white.
Happiest in a well drained soil (or gritty compost if growing in containers), these have been found to tolerate wet Winters better than most Lewisia.
Flowering from May to June, these also have the bonus of sometimes flowering again in September.
- Hardy perennial.
- Flower May-June - and perhaps September too!
- Prefer a well drained lime free soil or compost.
- Perfect in a full sun position but will also grow happily in partial shade.
- Height when flowering approximately 6" (15 cm)
- Plant 12" (30 cm) apart.
- An excellent rockery plant, or for container growing.
