Description

This striking large flowering, brilliant indigo blue with a yellow centre violet has tall upright stems and green, grass like pointy leaves. It is happy growing in an open woodland environment, moist meadows or river banks as well as rock gardens, herbaceous borders and pots, so extremely versatile. It has a clump forming habit.

Originated from North America.

Recognised to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.
