Description
Such a beautiful dark variety of fuchsia which has lots of single flowers, dark purple black corollas and crimson red sepal and tubes surrounded by slim dark green leaves with purple veins, it really is stunning.
This fuchsia reaches a height of 24" (60 cm) with a spread of approximately 12" (30 cm).
- Plant out from late May all through the summer.
- Hardy once established.
- Once established will flower from June to first frosts.
- Can be grown in full sun but prefers a little shade and free draining soil.
- Suitable for potting on or, dependent on time of year, planting straight into the garden.
- Late autumn garden planting should be avoided as the plants will not have time to establish before the winter.
- If grown in containers and left outside all winter they may not prove fully hardy as container growing does not afford the same level of root protection as growing in the ground.
