Microphylla var Hemsleyana Silver Lining is a fast growing variety of fuchsia, with a lovely silvery leaf (the main reason most people grow it!), which really is delighful with an upright, bushy habit with a small, long tubular, delicate, pink/red flower. Some people believe it to be hardy, but we're not quite so sure, you would probably be okay growing this outside in Cornwall or the Isle of Wight where the Winter climate is milder than most of the UK.
