Red Currant Bush Rolan
Ribes rubrum 'Rolan'
- A lovely mid-season variety of red currant.
- Produces large bunches of bright red juicy currants that have a gorgeous sweet flavour with a tart finish.
- Self fertile.

Description
Without training it will produce an open slightly spreading bush, but is also perfect for growing on wires or as a cordon.
Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.
- Harvest from early July.
- Self fertile.
- In bush form 'Rondom' is best planted 5 x 5 feet (1.5 x 1.5 metres) apart and kept at around 4 - 5 feet (1.2 - 1.5 metres) tall.
