Wild & Hedgerow Fruits
It's a sad fact that over the past few decades many native and mixed hedgerows have disappeared as they have been grubbed up. The same goes for areas of waste ground as the pressure to build on every square foot of the UK continues - progress? But with the loss of these wild areas and wild mixed hedgerows we become all the poorer. Not only does our wildlife lose vital food plants and natural habitat but we also lose places to find and forage for wild food!
For those wishing to plant a more wild and diverse hedgerow, or to set aside an area of their garden to 'let go' but still be productive we have put toether the plants for the job below. Not all are strictly 'wild varieties' but will give the same end result nonetheless - and in most cases a higher yield!
