Description
This variety was originally known as Green Sleeves and has an olive green colour and is shaped like a sausage, up to about 3" (8 cm) long. The flesh is rich, firm and sweet. A good variety for sauces and salads with an unusual colour!
Bred by Tom Wagnar, USA, who started breeding at the young age of 10! This variety was brought to fame by K Sahin of Zaden, Holland in 1998.
- This is a determinate variety and best grown as a bush.
- There is no need to side-shoot though thinning excessive growth to allow light and air in can prove beneficial.
- This variety performs well both outside and under protection (though for autumn/winter crops protection is essential).
