Also known as wood violets, these really are stunning with their fragrant little white flowers which you can eat or use as cut flowers, the bees and other pollinating insect love them too.
These plants are easy to grow and make a great ground cover with their evergreen leaves giving all year round interest in your garden, particularly as they usually flower twice a year.
- Hardy, perennial.
- Flowers Spring and sometimes August to October.
- Grow to approximately 8" (20 cm) high.
- Thrives in shade but will tolerate a full sun position.
- Likes a rich soil.
- Plant 10" (25 cm) apart.
- This plant will spread up to 24" (61 cm).
