Description
An Italian variety that produces 6-7" (16-17.5 cm) long fruits that are up to 2" (5 cm) in diameter at the shoulder.
Can be eaten green or when they have matured to a bright red; they are extremely sweet and crunchy. Perfect for stuffing and roasting, stir frying, or simply chopped into summer salads.
Plants grow to around 3 feet (90 cm) tall with a spread of around 18"-2 feet (45-60 cm).
Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.
