Description
A well known cut flower that is particularly useful in filling that colour gap between Spring and Summer flowering subjects.
A lovely mixture of semi-double and single flowers in shades of red, white pink and rose. We have also added the variety Robinsons Red to add crimson scarlet to that mix.
Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.
- Hardy Herbaceous Perennial.
- Excellent for Cut Flowers.
- Flowers May June.
- Grows to 18 - 24" (45 - 60 cm) tall.
- Sow February July in seed trays and just cover.
- Germinate and grow on under protection (germination can be slow; from 21 - 60 days).
- When large enough to handle prick out (transplant) into individual pots or module trays.
- When rooted through and more mature harden off and plant out after the risk of any further frosts, planting 12" by 12" (30 by 30 cm) apart.
