No autumn vegetable kitchen garden would be complete without the addition of a few pumpkins! Pumpkins, being a form of Winter squash are an easy addition to your veg garden. Whether you’re looking to grow super sweet acorn squashes, bold giant orange pumpkins or quirky, colourful pumpkins, we’ve got the pumpkin seeds that you need! Even if you are only growing your own pumpkins to help to celebrate Halloween, don't forget to use the flesh and roast the seeds so that nothing goes to waste. Every pumpkin seed is packed by hand at our DEFRA approved packing station in Kent.
Pumpkin plants trail as they grown, so can take up quite a bit of space, however they are ideal for preventing weeds if you grow them inbetween your sweetcorn plants!
Pumpins are a member of the gourd or cucurbitaceae family and are a good source of Vitamin A and C, and are excellent for eye health and for balancing sugar in your body.
