Description
The thin yellow-green skin of this relatively new variety are suffused with a red flush when ripe. The firm flesh is pale yellow in colour and has the added benefit of coming away from the stone easily - being a 'free stone' variety.
Heavy cropping and early to mature, this it also has the benefit of being highly resistant to Peach Leaf Curl.
- Season of use early/mid August.
- Originated from USA.
- Self Fertile.
- Grown on St Julien A rootstock for an ultimate height of 12 - 15 feet (3.65 - 4.6 metres) but can easily be kept at a height of 6 - 8 feet (1.8 - 2.4 metres).
Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.
