Onion Seeds

Onions are an essential part of many culinary dishes and are a great addition to any vegetable garden. They are an easy crop to grow and can be stored for use over the Winter months.

We offer a selection of onions seeds to grow throughout the UK, including our popular Giant Exhibition Onions, we love to receive messages from our winning customers about these.

Onions are said to have originates in Egypt, India or Central Asia and are a rich in fructans (a soluble fibre) which feeds the beneficial bacteria in our guts and as such can improve our colon gut and reduce inflammation in our intestine (not if you have irritable bowel syndrone though). Onions can help to lower blood pressure and have anti diabetic effects.
