Description

This pretty dark leafed mint smells like 'After Eights' and great for chocolate lovers!

Our children like to 'paint' these leaves in chocolate put them in the fridge to cool and then eat them with ice-cream and/or strawberries!

Hardy perennial.
Reaches about 16" (40 cm) tall.
Has purple flowers Summer and Autumn.
Has dark brown/purple oval, pointy leaves.
Likes a full sun position.
We recommend growing this in a pot as it can be invasive.

Culinary Uses
Good for puddings!
Good covered in chocolate or added to strawberries.
Can be dried.
Excellent for making tea.

Medicinal Uses
Tea can ease indigestion.
