Description
Originating from California, this Raspberry x Blackberry cross is possibly the best known of the hybrid berries.
The long cone-shaped berries have a pleasantly sharp taste when red in colour (making them perfect for cooking); allow them to mellow to a burgundy red colour for the real sweetness to come through.
Strong growing, and very heavy cropping, climbs more like a blackberry than a raspberry, therefore support is recommended.
- Harvest from mid July.
- Thornless.
- Self Fertile.
- Plant 6 feet (1.8 metres) apart.
