Description

Produces heavy crops of gorgeously sweet figs in August - September (you can often get two crops from this variety, depending on the season/weather). Fast into production, it is not unusual for it to produce fruit in the first season from planting. Remember to restrict the roots on your tree to get the best results.

In its own right this is a beautiful shrubby tree with large deeply lobed dark green leaves and an interesting twisting and turning branch structure, so even if you don't like figs, they really are a tree to have in your garden (a bit like a Mulberry!)

Brown Turkey is an excellent variety to grow in the UK as it copes well with lower temperatures, but they do love a sunny spot (and can be grown inside if you prefer).
