Cucumber Seeds For Protected Growing
You can get great results from sowing indoor cucumber seeds in the UK, each year we grow so many cucumbers we are get a bit 'cucumbered out' (as well as friends and neighbours!)
Homegrown cucumbers have so much more flavour that the shop bought ones and they tend to be more digestable too. Whether you choose to grow 'mini' cucumbers or full size ones growing them in a polytunnel or greenhouse will give amazing results (just don't forget to water them and pick them often!)
Don't forget you will need to provide a structure for them to climb up (and make sure it doesn't go through the side of your polytunnel) and look forward to a Summer full of cucumbers.
For visitors to our nursery we have a limited number of cucumber plants available in the Spring, but failing that we offer a nationwide delivery service for all our cucumber seeds.
