Cucumber Seeds For Outdoors
The cucumber seeds we offer in this section are all varieties which can be grown outside in the UK (so are a bit hardier than other varieties which require protection of a greenhouse or polytunnel).
Often referred to as ridge cucumbers (and can be grown under protection if you prefer) they are so worthwhile growing whilst they may be smaller in size than a more traditional fruit the flavour more than makes up for it! They taste better than a supermarket cucumber (like most home-grown stuff) and one plant will produce lots of cucumbers for you to enjoy in your Summer salads, make into soup or dips or however you prefer your cucumbers!
Please note that the seeds and young plants will still need to be started off indoors with a little warmth.
