Crab Apple Trees
Our fruit bearing crab apple trees for sale are supplied direct from our own nursery in Kent.
Crab apples often contain high levels of pectin, a natural gelling agent used in jelly and jam making and are so under rated. They have the most stunning, delicate, nectar rich blossom in the Spring, followed by an a bumper crop of attractive crab apples later in the year, if you plant them close to other apple trees they help to maximise crop yields. All our varieties are self fertile (so you can just grow one and get fruit).
The red sentinel crab apples look so beautiful hanging from the trees, they really are the most attractive colour, you should grow one just to see what we mean! You can grow them purely as an ornamental tree if you prefer, but all the varieties we offer can be eaten too.
