Description

We sell only one colour - Royal Blue.

An excellent flower for borders, bedding or the cutting garden due to it's striking brilliant blue, double flower that stand on long straight stems. Doesn't tend to have much scent, but eaten have a sweet, sort of clove type flavour. The flowers are also used to make tea.

Also known as Bachelors Button and is the national flower of Germany.

Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.

• Hardy Annual.
• Excellent For Cut or dried Flowers.
• Can be used to make confetti.
• Flowers are edible.
• Likes a sunny position.
• Flowers June to September.
• Grows to approximately 3 – 4 feet (90 - 120 cm) tall.
• Sow March to April, or August to September (if over wintering), where they are to flower. Sow thinly ¼" (0.5 cm) deep in rows 12" (30 cm) apart. 
• Thin to 12" (30 cm) apart.
