Cooking Pear Trees

The pear trees in this section of our site are varieties which are good for cooking.

All the cooking pear trees that we offer from our Kent based nursery are grown on a St Julian A rootstock, so will reach a maximum height of 12 feet, but can be kept smaller should you prefer.  We prune the trees before dispatch so that they are ready just to be planted straight into your garden or allotment when they arrive anywhere within the UK.

Poached pears or a pear tart are made even more delicious if you grow the pears yourself and it really isn't that difficult, if you have the space why not give it a try, we are always here to offer advise on our plants and trees should you need it.
