Bean Plants
Bean plants are so under-rated. So easy to grow, particularly from the large plug plants that we sell.
The vegetable bean plants that we deliver directly to you are ready to be planted (if it's very early in the season and frost is forecast you may need to fleece them at night) then all you have to do it provide the supports for them to climb, if they need them and water and watch them grow, a bit like Jack and the Beanstalk but you will have to be a little more patient! Then enjoy the delicous beans the plants produce whether that be broad beans, French beans or runner beans.
Broad Bean Plant 'The Sutton'
A dwarf variety perfect for the smaller plot. Extremely hardy, so ideal for over-wintering. Excellent flavour and heavy cropping too.

Climbing French Bean Plant 'Blue Lake'
A most delicious and reliable French Bean that defies any Summer drought and remain sugar sweet and tender. Easy to grow and very long cropping.

A black seeded Climbing French Bean with excellent flavour and continuity of cropping performance. Can be dried and used as a haricot bean.
