Description

A real novelty both in shape and colour. Just like 'Eight Ball', this produces round fruits that are best eaten when they reach cricket ball proportions - only these are a gorgeous golden yellow in colour. The skin of this variety is very thin, the flesh extremely dense and meaty.

Eat these when around the size of a cricket ball or smaller for a lovely fresh flavour.

Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.
