A great variety for adding interest to the table or lunch box.
The golden-yellow fruits have a really sweet flavour and literally burst in the mouth with juiciness! Slightly bigger than a conventional cherry tomato, the teardrop shape makes these reminiscent of a tiny Pear.
Yellow pear tomatoes are a heirloom variety and originated in Europe in the 1800s.
- This is an indeterminate variety and best grown as a cordon (vine).
- For best yields and size of fruit, stop at 5th truss if growing under protection (3rd outside).
- Whilst the best crops will be grown under protection, this variety can also be grown outside.
